About the Role
GovCIO is currently hiring for a BaseCamp Software Quality (QA) Tester to oversee SQA activities such as test planning, test documentation, reviews, tracking and reporting on testing results. This position is responsible for testing, customer and resource management, self-service request management, sustainment, and cloud migration. This position is fully work-from-home, located in the United States.
Report all findings and test incidences in a testing status report and the Defect Log.
Work closely with development team to develop and execute test strategies, plans, and test cases based on requirements.
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, UAT, smoke, and end‑to‑end testing across web, API, cloud, and database environments.
Build and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and Visual Studio tools.
Conduct API and web‑services testing using SOAPUI, Postman, and XML/JSON validation.
Key Responsibilities
- Experience with ALM, JIRA, RTC, and Confluence
- Flexible Work Environment
- Document test results, manage defects, and ensure traceability using ALM, JIRA, RTC, and Confluence.
- Bachelor's with 15 years (or commensurate hands-on history)
- Internal Mobility Program
- Perform production validation and post‑release quality checks.
- Certifications in relevant technologies
