Join Intels Silicon Engineering Group as a CPU Design Verification Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the functional accuracy and performance of next-generation processor designs.
In this role, you will collaborate with architects, RTL developers. Physical design teams to verify and validate cutting-edge CPU architectures that power millions of devices globally. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative solutions, refine industry-leading methodologies, and shape the future of computing.

Develop and execute comprehensive verification plans to validate CPU logic against architectural specifications
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the definition and refinement of CPU architecture and microarchitecture features to meet functional, performance, and power goals
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies and teamwork in cross-functional environments
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Perl for test automation and debugging
- Familiarity with x86 architecture and assembly programming
- Build scalable UVM-based testbenches and define robust functional coverage models
- Hands-on history in design verification, validation, or related semiconductor engineering roles, with an emphasis on CPU architecture
- Collaborate closely with CPU architects and RTL designers to verify complex architectural and microarchitectural features
- Document verification strategies and lead technical reviews with design and architecture teams
- Strong expertise in SystemVerilog for developing UVM-based testbenches
- Bachelors degree with 3+ years of relevant background, Masters degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, or PhD with 6+ months of relevant hands-on history
- Track record in programming with C++ and knowledge of validation strategies based on architectural insights
- Experience with Synopsys simulators (e.g., VCS), debug tools, and version control software such as GIT
